When you are an artist it's important to be unique in your work .... it's also important to explore new techniques to learn and possibly implement into your work as you develop your own style and processes. One way to do this is by taking classes from other artists. We learn, we share, we grow.

I still have a TON of work to do on this piece, BUT this is part of what I was learning recently while in Phoenix. Carol Milne was an incredible instructor. Yes .. that is all glass .. well, except for the knitting needles.

I do not intend to ever make anything similar -- knitting is Carol's thing (ATTN ARTISTS: Never rip off another artist's work). However, I gained a ton of process learning to add to my creative toolbox.

I thank Carole Milne and Warren at Milkweed Arts for a great week!

Fun stuff!
