Continuing my never-ending journey to learn and experience life and the arts is essential to me. A recent stop along my path included spending a few days in Phoenix, AZ, at Milkweed Arts, where I took a really fun class taught by Lois Manno.

This was my second time taking classes at Milkweed Arts. It's a cute shop, and they do an excellent job of bringing in brilliant and accomplished artists to teach classes. My last trip there included glass knitting and casting classes by Carol Milne. This time, the class was on the use of modeling glass. The product was developed and taught by Lois Manno.

Lois is a fantastic instructor and creator. One of the projects we made was a beautiful feather.

I hung mine on my bird wall next to one of my original drawings.
