VENTURING OUT

As I stand here in my studio, with my head spinning with ideas, I run the risk of getting lost in the glass -- never to see another human ... LOL! Typically I have to make an effort to pull on clothes that are not ripped or covered in kiln wash and walk out the door.

Last weekend one of my forced outings was a trip to Evergreen. A fun little mountain-town full of creative opportunities, elk and food ... LOTS of great food. While there I took in an exhibit at the Center for the Arts Evergreen. The current exhibit is 'IMMORTALIZED: Lens + Light'. A beautiful display of photography and glass. ,

I was intrigued by the glass pieces consisting of stained, fused, mosaic glass, and mixed media. I always come away from exhibits with even more ideas to keep me tucked away in my studio.
